Do you realize this year the Cobb's have been here 5 years?
So we are having Pastor Appreciation Day/Homecoming on October 17th-come join us!

September 2010 from Brother Cobb's Garden

To make a really long story short,
the church purchased an organ(below) on July 19th, 2010
and so we had to say goodbye to our old organ(top)
which the church has had for many, many years.

Brother and Sister Cobb's Flowers June 2010

Brother and Sister Cobb were "surprised" Sunday, February 7, 2010,
with a covered dish dinner and a love offering for their Anniversary,
Brother Cobb's birthday and a welcome home for Sister Cobb.
Please keep remembering Sister Cobb's brother in your prayers.

Brother Cobb was presented a Love Offering for he and
Sister Cobb the night of the Christmas program, 12/20/09.
We appreciate Brother and Sister Cobb so very much!

October 25, 2009 was Pastor Appreciation Day

Congratulations to David and Ruth on the
birth of their great grandbaby, Ethan Jack
born on March 11, 2009

We had an ice storm Thursday, March 12 and 13, 2009.  This
big tree in front of the church parsonage had a few limbs to break.
Also, one tree further down the parking lot broke off too.

Rev. David Cobb and his wife Ruth were both raised in Jamestown, TN. They were married in 1964, and they have 1 son, Tim. Brother Cobb has been pastoring since 1966. After graduation from the Circleville Bible College in Ohio, he remained in Ohio for several years pastoring in the Western Ohio district.  Rev. Cobb has pastored many churches in the TN district and Monterey is blessed to have them with us again.
