Special Events 2009


As we come to the end of 2009, we would like to say a big thank you for all those who support this church and for all of the many prayers that you have prayed for this church.  May God bless you all.


On December 21, 2009 we had a group from the church go Christmas Caroling.
We made fruit baskets and gave throws to those we sang to.  We visited the Nursing Home and visited 7 houses that night. It was cool that night, but not too bad.  We came back to the church and had hot dogs.  We ask that you pray for those who we
went to see that night.



We had our Christmas program
on December 20, 2009.  We had a little
snow on the ground too and a SPECIAL THANKS
goes to all who helped in any way with the program.


December 13, 2009
was our Christmas Dinner at the Community Center


Friday, December 4th the church took a trip
to see the Gaither's in Nashville. 
Before the concert, we ate at Cracker Barrel.
Special thanks goes to the 1st Baptist Church for
lending us a Driver and their church van. 



We had our Old Fashioned Day/Pastor Appreciation Day on October 18, 2009.
The Crystal River Singers from Jamestown, TN 
came and sang for us during the
Morning Worship Service.


After the dinner, Brother and Sister Cobb opened their
gifts for Pastor Appreciation Day.

Brother Rick did the Devotion for the
Nursing Home Service on October 4, 2009


9/27/09 Brother George Miller has a CD out now.
You can buy it in Monterey for $10.  He is also featured in
an article in the Ocober 1st Edition of the Hilltop Express.


Special thanks to some dear people
who every year donates money
to keep our website up and running.  We really
 do appreciate it! 


The church bought the lot beside of it, and
we had a Work Day 9/19 to begin tearing the house down.
Special thanks to ALL who are helping in any way during this process.

Congratulations to Treva and Robert on the
birth of their grandbaby, Alexander Wynn born on August 6, 2009


Brother Rick Frazier was given a fruit basket and a card from the church in
recognition of his Ordination.  7/12/09


On Sunday, July 5th, we had special singing with
George Miller and Violet (Miller) Morgan.  It was a great time of fellowship together.    We had
a church dinner following the service.  We also had visitors that day
from Wenatchee, Washington.

Arnold and Mamie celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary in June


A Church Dinner was held on May 31st in honor of 
her High School Graduation.



On May 31st the Teenage class held our Morning Worship Service,
and did a great job.

We had a very good Revival May 6-10 with Dr. Marlin Hotle.



Easter Services were held 4/12/09 with a dinner and an Egg Hunt after the service for the kids.


Matthew, pictured with his family, became an Eagle scout
on March 14, 2009.

The Floyd Family, who are the Papua New Guinea Missionaries, came and
held our service on 1/25/09.  We had a church dinner to follow.  Please keep these folks in your prayers and
for more information about them, visit their page on our website.




On January 4th we had special singing by some folks from Jamestown, TN.
They did a wonderful job and we appreciated them coming so very much.
